Sleep Your Way to Better Health: 7 Hacks for Better Rest and Recovery.

We’ve all heard the importance of sleep, but are you getting the quality rest your body really needs? Here are 7 hacks to help you sleep like a pro and wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world.

1. Create a Sleep Schedule

Going to bed and waking up at the same time every day helps regulate your body’s internal clock. Try to stick to your schedule—even on weekends!

2. Limit Caffeine and Alcohol

Caffeine can keep you wired, and alcohol might help you fall asleep but messes with the quality of your rest. Cut these out at least 4 hours before bed.

3. Make Your Room a Sleep Sanctuary

Keep your room dark, cool, and quiet. Invest in blackout curtains, earplugs, or a white noise machine if necessary.

4. Unwind Before Bed

Turn off your screens and try relaxing activities like reading, journaling, or a warm bath to help signal to your body that it’s time to wind down.

5. Try Melatonin

Melatonin supplements can help your body regulate sleep. Just take it 30 minutes before bedtime if you’re struggling to fall asleep.

6. Get Moving During the Day

Exercise helps you sleep better at night. Just make sure you don’t work out too close to bedtime, or you might be too energized to fall asleep!

7. Limit Naps

While naps can be refreshing, long naps during the day can mess with your nighttime sleep schedule. Keep naps to 20-30 minutes max.
