Bollywood star Vaani Kapoor is missing out on family traditions this Diwali due to her bustling work schedule, but she’s embracing the busy season with gratitude. With five major projects this year, Vaani has been balancing a packed calendar that includes Raid 2 with Ajay Devgn, Badtameez Gill, and her latest international project, Abir Gulaal, currently filming in the UK with Fawad Khan. As she spends the festive season away from family, she reflects on the warmth of past Diwalis spent in Delhi.
“I’ve had a hectic year shooting for my upcoming projects. I consider myself fortunate to be part of so many diverse films and to work with incredibly talented people,” Vaani shared. Although her Diwali will be on set, she fondly remembers her family traditions: “Usually, if I’m not working, I make it a point to be in Delhi. The festive atmosphere there is so vibrant. I love doing the Diwali Puja with my family, seeking blessings, and lighting diyas together. I’ll miss indulging in my family’s homemade sweets and savory treats, surrounded by laughter and love. These moments make Diwali truly memorable.”
Fans can also look forward to seeing Vaani make her streaming debut in Yash Raj Entertainment’s anticipated thriller Mandala Murders. Directed by Mardaani 2‘s Gopi Puthran, the series promises an intense, gripping storyline that will feature Vaani in a brand-new avatar.
